Ljubica Pendaroska is personal data protection expert, legal counsel, lecturer and speaker. Along with four motivated enthusiastic professionals, she founded and acting as President of Cyber Security, Corporate Security and Crisis Management Initiative Macedonia, aiming to raise public awareness and knowledge in cyber security and privacy. She is also a Chairperson and member of the Ethical Committee of the Horizon2020 IECEU project. Ljubica is engaged as Advisor to eminent Law firm, as well as Legal Counsel to the University of Information science & technology.
Ljubica has more than 10 years of experience in protection of personal data, as an expert within the EU projects. Driven by the vision to contribute to a society of people accountable to themselves and to the wider environment, she is part of the research team working on the preparation of an Assessment of cyber defense capacity in South-East Europe. She has six years’ experience as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Law.
Believing strongly in international cooperation and exchange, Ljubica selflessly contributes as a member of the Council of “Marshall Center Macedonia”, the “Atlantic Treaty Association Macedonia” and “Macedonian Lawyers Association.” Representing the idea that volunteering enriches one’s soul, she is a volunteer within an NGO working with children and other vulnerable categories.
Ljubica is a PhD candidate in International Relations(University of Belgrade), holds MA in International Law(Ss. Cyril and Methodius University Skopje) and Bar Exam Diploma. She holds certificates for training courses of NATO and COE in cyber security, terrorism and privacy issues.
